Windows 2000: "NTDetect Failed"
Problem Description
When booting up computer, message "NTDetect Failed" is displayed.
Resolution
Reinstall Windows 2000. Boot from Windows 2000 CD, select Repair, select Manual repair. Uncheck everything except Startup Environment. If this doesn't work, boot from the Windows 2000 CD, select Repair, then select Fast repair.
